Incredible video captured from inside a tornado in Kansas on May 27th, 2013. Veteran storm chaser and IMAX movie producer, Sean Casey, shot video inside a 16,000 armor coated Tornado Intercept Vehicle called a TIV. The vehicle is designed to withstand winds up to 200mph but they did lose some instruments on top of the vehicle as well as hatch which blew open in the strong winds. The vehicle has hydraulic spikes which dig into the ground during a tornado.
