Gentry police are searching for a woman they believe used a stolen debit card to make hundreds of dollars in purchases. Authorities now need your help identifying her.

Surveillance video captured the woman at a Walmart and a Phillips 66 gas station in Gentry while making the fraudulent purchases April 5. She’s accused of spending nearly $200 at Walmart and nearly $100 at the gas station.

According to Sgt. Clay Stewart, the woman pictured allegedly broke into a car in Decatur and stole a woman’s purse. Authorities believe she then came to Gentry to use the stolen money the same day.

In addition to the felony fraudulent charges, Sgt. Stewart says the woman is facing felony forgery charges for a hot check she allegedly wrote to the O’Reilly’s Auto Park in Gentry.

Investigators say the woman may have connections to the Tulsa, Okla. area. She allegedly bought phone cards for a prepaid cell phone with a Tulsa area code number. Police say she also tried to use a stolen KOHL’s credit card in Tulsa two days later, but the card had already been deactivated.

If you can identify this woman, call the Northwest Arkansas Crimestoppers at 479-790-TIPS.
