Matt Oberste drove in two runs to help life Oklahoma to a 7-3 win against Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the Blacksburg, Va. regional.

The Sallisaw native had a pair of hits and his two run single in the fifth gave Oklahoma the lead for good. Oberste added a bunt single in the 8th and then stole second as part of a double steal that saw Max White steal home.

White had a huge day for the Sooners offense. The Durant native went 4-of-5 with a pair of RBI and scored twice.

Oklahoma got a complete game from pitcher Jonathan Gray to pick up the win. Gray, who transferred from Eastern Oklahoma State in Wilburton, struck out 11 while allowing two earned runs and scattered nine hits.
