Fort Smith Police have identified 25-year-old Daniel Elon Bell as the suspected shooter in Monday night’s home invasion that left one man injured.
An arrest warrant on the charges of Aggravated Residential Burglary, Aggravated Robbery, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Battery 1st Degree carrying a $500,000 bond has been issued for Bell, according to Fort Smith Police Sgt. Daniel Grubbs.
Bell could possibly be armed and is considered dangerous, Grubbs said.

The incident happened Monday (June 3) at Village South Apartment Complex at 5101 Towson Ave., officials said.
The victim, 42-year-old John D. Smith, Jr., told police he heard a knock at his door around 10 p.m., and when he answered it, a suspect forced his way inside the apartment, according to Sgt. Gerald Schaefer.
Police said the man demanded money, but Smith refused. Smith told investigators the suspect shot him at least once in leg, and left without taking anything.
Luddell Smith, the victim's brother, said the suspect was known to the family.
Smith told 5NEWS his brother was shot in both legs, and his shin bone was shattered. He said it appeared he was shot twice in both legs. Smith said his brother is not in critical condition, but said he can't walk and underwent surgery at a local hospital.
Police say Smith was shot at least once in the leg.
