Heavener Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

A Heavener, Okla., man is dead after a motorcycle accident in LeFlore County Wednesday evening (June 12).

The accident occurred just after 5 p.m. six miles south of Hodgen on US 59, according to a fatality report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Rickey Ford, 56, of Heavener, died after the 2007 Yamaha motorcycle he was riding was hit by a Chevy pickup driven by 21-yearold Colton Gregerson of Geary, Okla.

Gregerson was traveling south on US 59 when he attempted to make a left hand turn, colliding with Ford who was traveling north. Ford was ejected approximately 28 feet.

Ford was taken by medical helicopter to Muskogee Regional Medical Center where he died from massive injuries, the report states. Gregerson was not injured.
