Suzy Q is one of the kittens available for adoption.

Now might be the perfect time to welcome a new addition into your home. In honor of National Adopt a Cat Month, the Fayetteville Animal Shelter is waiving the fees on cat and kitten adoptions until Saturday, June 22nd.

When you adopt a cat or kitten, your new furry friend will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Lindsey Smith says the Fayetteville Animal Shelter has taken in more than 140 felines in the last 30 days. If you are interested in giving a cat or kitten a loving home, you can stop by the shelter at 1640 Armstrong in Fayetteville. Hours during the week are 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
