A homeowner managed to avoid injury after their home caught fire early Friday morning (June 21).

Sequoyah County 911 dispatchers said they received a call at approximately 3 a.m. about a fire at Old Reaney Road near the Craven Crest housing edition.

The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, according to Sequoyah Co. dispatchers.

Liberty, Roland, and Muldrow Fire Departments responded to the house fire.  While crews said a woman inside managed to escape injury dispatchers said the house was considered to be a total loss.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
