Police are searching for a man in a mask they say robbed Springdale apartment occupants with a gun Friday morning while making the occupants take their clothes off.

The suspect entered an apartment unit at the Links Apartments at about 10 a.m. A man, his 14-year-old daughter and his three-year-old child were home at the time. The masked gunman allegedly made the man tie up his teenager with a zip tie after forcing the man and the teenager to take off their clothes, according to the Springdale Police Department.

The suspect then had the man put his children in a bedroom. The masked man allegedly took $60 in cash out of the man’s wallet and fled the scene, police said.

Detectives responded to the robbery and searched the area, finding an open bag of zip ties and a package of condoms in a nearby dumpster, according to police.

The masked man’s height is suspected to be between five-foot-eight and five-foot-ten. The victims said he might be a Marshallese male, due to his accent.
