Being a college football coach is a 12 month job, but if there’s ever a down time, it’s the month June.
Bret Bielema was out at the NWA Razorback Club golf scramble Friday in Bella Vista. Coach doesn’t play a lot of golf, so we asked him to analyze his swing.
“I have a very short, aggressive swing,” said Bielema.
He says it takes him back to when he was in college at the University of Iowa, trying to impress a club pro.
“My college roommate (was there) and he was standing back and he couldn’t wait to see the reaction from this pro,” said Bielema. “He said, ‘that’s a very violent swing.’ I figured the less backswing the less amount of air. But it doesn't always work out that way.”
