Two Fayetteville residents managed to escape an early morning house fire Thursday (June 27).
Fayetteville firefighters were called out to the home on Washington Avenue around 1:44 a.m.
Two people and a dog were inside the home when the fire started, but firefighters said they managed to make it out safely.
Three Fayetteville fire engines, two ladders, and a battalion chief all responded to the fire overnight. Firefighters said the home suffered significant damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
