Rogers Man Arrested In String Of Local Burglaries

A Rogers man is behind bars in Washington County, suspected of carrying out a string of local burglaries and thefts.

Trevor Daniel LaRochelle was arrested Thursday on suspicion of commercial burglary, theft of property, auto theft, residential burglary, illegal possession of a firearm and theft by receiving. Fayetteville police said LaRochelle stole from a local car dealership, a Fayetteville home and a Rogers motel.

LaRochelle remained Thursday in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers responded Wednesday night to a call of reckless driving near the McDonalds on East Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville. Responding police found the suspect and his vehicle, and found several stolen items in the vehicle, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

The investigation into LaRochelle is ongoing, police said.
