The trial of Jacob Holly, accused of killing a father and stabbing the man's son near Elkins last summer, is expected to get underway Monday (July 1).
The Rogers man's trial was delayed last November then reset again in February and May to give attorneys more time to prepare for the case.
Holly is accused of killing Chris Kelley and injuring Kelley's son.
Authorities say Holly was near the White River Bridge on Arkansas Highway 74 last July when he flagged down an off-duty police officer and told him he stabbed two people attempting to drown him.
Holly has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which include second-degree murder and first-degree battery.
