A Springdale family evacuated from their home early Tuesday night after a fire started in the kitchen, according to witnesses.
Springdale firefighters responded shortly before 7 p.m. to 1103 Christian Ave. in reference to a house fire. Smoke was emitting from the home, but the Springdale Fire Department had the fire under control less than 30 minutes later.
No one was injured, but the fire caused significant damage to the home’s second floor.
