Firefighters Treated On Scene After Heavener Fire

Officials said several firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion after a fire in Heavener on Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a report of a shed on fire at approximately 3 p.m. near the intersection of Wilson Street and Short I Avenue. The fire destroyed the shed and two out buildings before being brought under control.

The firefighters treated on the scene are expected to fully recover. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
