A woman who received minor injuries in an incident at Tyson Foods in Springdale on Tuesday (July 16) has been released from the hospital, a company spokesman said.
The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. and involved an employee working at the plant at 600 Berry St., said Worth Sparkman, Tyson’s public relations manager.
“As a precaution, she was transported to Northwest Medical Center in Springdale,” Sparkman said.
Sparkman said her her injuries were minor, adding she was released Thursday afternoon.
The company’s safety personnel are investigating the incident, Sparkman said.
