One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries in a five-car smashup on Interstate 540 in Northwest Arkansas early Monday (July 22), authorities said.
That incident was one of three traffic accidents on I-540 early Monday, officials said.
In the five-car accident, traffic was backed up in the northbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 81 in Rogers, officials said.
State Police also worked two minor traffic accidents near Exit 76 and Exit 83 early Monday, officials said.
