Bentonville police arrested Tim Sawyers, 36, of Parkville, Mo., on four counts of rape Tuesday (July 23).
According to police, Sawyers lived in Bentonville between 2004 and 2012 when the alleged rape occurred. The underage victim was known to Sawyers and there are no other known victims, police say.
Sawyers was booked into the Benton County jail.
