Rogers police have determined that a stabbing investigation that began late Wednesday night was “unfounded,” according to officer Keith Foster.
Officers and medical crews responded to a suspected stabbing 800 block of South 28th Street shortly before 10 p.m. and took a man a local hospital, police said.
On Thursday (Aug. 1), the victim told 5NEWS he is an epileptic, suffered a seizure while carrying a knife and accidentally stabbed himself in the abdomen.
Police were investigating the situation as a possible burglary and assault, but have since called off the investigation.
