Fayetteville police caught up Thursday morning with the man they say was involved in a kidnapping and robbery at a local apartment complex last weekend.

Joshua Weston-Hill, 32, was arrested early Thursday morning on suspicion of aggravated robbery and kidnapping. He remains in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

The arrest comes four days after police began searching for Weston-Hill in connection with the robbery. Authorities arrested Brandy Sisemore, 28, on Sunday. She was allegedly an accomplice with Weston-Hill, along with an unidentified Hispanic male, police said.

Sisemore was booked into the Washington County Detention Center, where she remained Thursday on $50,000 bond, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Weston-Hill and Sisemore both have an arraignment set for Aug. 30 in Washington County Circuit Court, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A preliminary police report said Fayetteville officers responded on July 24 to a man who said he had been robbed at the Grandview Apartments on the 400 block of West 24th Street. The man told officers he was at an apartment with his friend Christopher Knox when the two got into a fight, the report said.

After the fight, the victim said the two calmed down and Knox went into another room to make a phone call, the report said. About 15 minutes later, two men and a woman, whom the victim knew as “Koko,” entered the apartment and one of the men hit the victim with a cane and then pulled a knife from the cane, the report said.

The man, whom the victim identified as Weston-Hill, began to hit the victim, as did the woman, the report said. The second man, identified as a Hispanic, took the victim’s backpack that contained four cell phones and prescription medication, the report said.

The victim said Weston-Hill forced him out of the apartment and into a car with the woman and the Hispanic male, the report said. The woman and man dropped the victim off near the Dowell Cemetery on Razorback Road, the report said.

Police said they entered the alias “Koko” in their database and found it associated with Sisemore, whom the victim identified along with Weston-Hill in separate photo lineups, the report said.

The report said Sisemore was located Saturday at a residence on the 100 block of East 11th Street, and she tried to elude officers before being apprehended.
