Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel approved the wording for a medical marijuana ballot item in the state Tuesday (Aug. 6).
The ballot item, requested by Arkansans for Responsible Medicine, was approved as submitted while another requested by Arkansans for Compassionate Care was not.
Now that the ballot title of the measure proposed to legalize medical marijuana is certified by McDaniel, the group can begin gathering signatures in hopes of getting the item on the 2014 ballot.
