Beaver Lake Drowning Victim Identified As Missouri Man
Authorities have identified the man who drowned Tuesday night in Beaver Lake as a Missouri man, and the case remains under investigation.
Frank Robbins, of Seligman, Mo., drowned around 6 p.m., and his body was recovered at about 8 p.m., according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Keshia Guyll said the man was swimming in Dry Hollow Cove at the time of his death.
Investigators do not suspect foul play, although the case remains under investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Someone who lived nearby the scene of the drowning called 911 after Robbins’ friends knocked on his door, saying the man was missing. The drowning victim’s body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for further investigation.
