Arkansas had worked behind closed doors since fall camp began but that all changed on Saturday.

Bret Bielema and the Razorbacks held an open scrimmage inside Reynolds Razorback Stadium in front of close to 5,000 fans.

Brandon Allen was near perfect as he completed 16-of-17 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown.

"Brandon Allen continues to impress me," Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said. "Certain throws, his composure, his demeanor. Just everything he brings to the table."

Freshman running back Alex Collins also impressed as he rushed for 40 yards and a score.

"Alex, as you can tell, is a very gifted football player," Bielema said. "I knew he was going to do it today.... he was going to try to reverse the field and our guys tomahawked him down. I just said we're not at South Plantation anymore. Everybody is fast out there. He's got to learn to get the yards we can get and be happy with it. I thought he was good in ball security."

Bielema also said that up to 10 freshman could be apart of the three deep roster, including Fayetteville native Brooks Ellis and Greenwood native Drew Morgan.
