Driver Killed In Fiery Crash After Car Hits Bridge Barrier
A driver in a fiery crash died in eastern Oklahoma on Monday from massive injuries sustained after the car involved collided with a concrete bridge barrier, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The driver was on a county road south of Grove at 9 a.m. in Delaware County, when the 1995 Honda Accord veered off of the roadway and struck a concrete bridge barrier before catching fire. The driver was pinned in the car until 10:30 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, according to a state police crash report.
The sky was cloudy, but conditions were dry at the time of the wreck, police said. Police said they will not release the name of the driver until the family is notified.
