Overnight rains could bring flooding to Scott County Wednesday (Aug. 13) and cause a levee near YCity to overflow, according to County Judge James Forbes.

On Wednesday, Forbes e-mailed pictures to 5NEWS of areas in the county where water is rising. He said he is on his way to YCity to examine whether flood waters are topping a levee there.

In the past, resident in the area expressed concern to 5NEWS that their homes could be threatened if the levee is topped.
