Hundreds of Razorback football fans were at the Bud Walton Arena Sunday for Arkansas’ annual Fan Day.

While some fans were excited to get autographs from their favorite players, others were looking forward to meet new Head Coach Bret Bielema.

“We are so excited to be here,” said Tonya Lake. “Woo pig sooie!”

“I like to see the linemen, because that’s my position,” said James Payne. “I like getting all the signatures and meeting the players.”

“I want to see Bret Bielema,” said Greyson Goble.

Hog Nation is looking forward to see how the team fares in 2013 and believes Bielema will deliver a turnaround season.

“Definitely, I have heard nothing but nice things said about him,” said Lake.

“He runs a different offense than our other coach,” said Rhett Adkins. “He likes to run the ball up the middle with big guys.”

“I am real excited about it,” said Dwayne Kelley. “I am hoping they have a real good year.”

Arkansas has a difficult conference schedule this year with games against powerhouse schools Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida, South Carolina and LSU. For those who believe the Razorbacks will struggle this upcoming season, Lake has a message for you.

“Let the naysayers say what they want, but actions speak louder than words,” said Lake. “We will be going to a bowl game this year.”

Arkansas kicks off the 2013 season Aug. 31 against Louisiana Lafayette in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
