Bond has been set for the four suspects accused in the burglary of $33,000 in cash and surveillance equipment from a Siloam Springs Harps store.

Shawn Bolton, Cherie Bolton, Brady Soucie and Preston Baxter appeared before a judge Wednesday at the Benton County Jail for their bond hearings. Shawn Bolton’s bond was set at $25,000, while Cherie Bolton’s bond is $15,000. Baxter received a $22,500 bond. Soucie’s bond has not yet been set.

Siloam Springs police on Monday arrested Shawn Bolton, 32, Cherie Bolton, 28, and Soucie, 19, on suspicion of burglary and theft. The suspects were arrested after police executed a search warrant on the Bolton’s home and recovered about $22,000, according to the Siloam Springs Police Department. Baxter was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of commercial burglary and theft.

The Harps Food Store on U.S. Highway 412 was broken into early last Friday. Employees did not notice anything was wrong until they showed up to the store and found $23,000 in cash and $10,000 in video surveillance equipment missing, police said.

Police said Shawn Bolton was an employee at the store and likely provided keys and electronic access codes to the other suspects. All suspects had been living at the Bolton home prior to the theft.

The suspects have been transported to the Benton County Jail, where they remained after their bond hearings.
