A Muldrow teen is in serious condition at a Tulsa hospital after crashing an ATV Sunday night.
According to a police report from the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department, Christian Mayberry, 16, was driving southbound on County Road 4750, five miles south of Muldrow when he ran off the road into a ditch. He was ejected 12 feet from his Polaris Ranger ATV.
Police responded to a 911 call around 9 p.m. Sunday (September 1). Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officers said he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
He was transported by Pafford EMS to Sparks Hospital in Ft. Smith, then airlifted by Life-Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa.
Mayberry is a junior at Muldrow High School.
