The event will bring about 240 competitors from all over the world to the Old Fort Gun Club. They will maneuver through the courses and be judged on speed, accuracy and power. Contestants have a chance to win $60,000 in prizes
"You're going to see some pretty amazing by some of the best shooters in the world,” said USPSA President Phil Strader. “It's one thing to go into a range and punch holes in a target and learn the trade. It’s another thing to pick up a pistol and shoot 30 rounds in 11 seconds and hit everything."
Shooting will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to bring their own ear and eye protection.
