Suspects Arrested After Chase Near Mulberry

Two men were arrested  in connection with a rash of burglaries in Mulberry Wednesday  (Sept. 18).

Police received a tip that two possible suspects were at a house in Mulberry. When they arrived, the two suspects got away in a stolen red pickup truck.

One suspect was found later on Beneux Bottom Road around 4 p.m., according to police. Officers believe the second suspect ran off and hid in the woods. They found him later Wednesday evening.

No names in the case have been released at this time.

Police say they’ve been investigating burglaries in the area over the last few weeks.
