Two men from New Mexico were arrested Tuesday (Sept. 24) after Arkansas Highway Police found a significant shipment of illegal drugs in their vehicle on Interstate 40.

Jason Price, 42, and John Magnus, 48, both of Albuquerque, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

About 100 pounds of marijuana, estimated to be valued at $200,000, was found in the bed of a pickup truck, according to AHP Chief Ron Burks.

Police believe the two were taking the drugs to Tennessee.

Both men were booked into the Crawford County Detention Center. Bond has been set at $15,000 each, according to a news release from the AHP.
