LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The website to the new health insurance exchange will be down for repairs periodically this weekend.
It’s been a rough first week for the system, with volume slowing down the federal government’s website all week. It is supposed to help people enroll in affordable plans.
Heather Haywood with the Arkansas insurance department said they don’t know how many have signed up, but they expect improvement.
Arkansas officials hope to sign up 500,000 to new policies through the exchange.
