As the federal shutdown continues, members of the military, including those in the Guard and Reserves, can expect to be paid next week, according to a Facebook post by the 188th Fighter Wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard.

Active military members, as well as those in the Guard and Reserves, are set to be paid on Tuesday (Oct. 15), according to the Facebook post. Other federal employees affiliated with those units also are set to be paid next week.

“The partial government shutdown has impacted services throughout the Department of Defense,” the Facebook post states. “Although the following is current, understand that we are operating in a very fluid environment. We encourage employees to notify creditors of a potential delay in pay in case of a processing error or change in the below information.”

Below are the pay schedules listed on the 188th’s Facebook page:

1) Non-excepted dual-status and non-dual status federal employees (those furloughed last week) – Pay date, Oct. 17. These employees will be paid for work performed from Sept. 22 through Sept. 30.

2) Excepted dual-status and non-dual status federal employees (those not furloughed last week) – Pay date, Oct. 17. These employees will be paid for work performed from Sept. 22 through Oct. 5.

3) Active, Guard and Reserve (AGR) employees – Pay date, Oct. 15.

“Once an appropriation bill or continuing resolution is passed additional guidance will be published regarding the four hours performed by federal employees on Oct. 1,” the Facebook page states.
