5NEWS Grill: Off the Bone Breakfast
1 1/2 pounds Kretschmar Ham Off The Bone (sliced thick and diced bite size)
2 cups Kretshmar Cheddar Cheese, shredded
2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
1/4 cup green peppers, chopped and sauted
1/4 cup white onion, chopped and sauted
2 1/2 cups milk
1-8 oz can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
1-4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. hot sauce
Optional: Cherry tomatoes and parsley sprigs to garnish
Lightly grease a 13x9x2 baking pan, spread croutons in pan; set aside.
Saute Kretschmar Ham Off The Bone and cook until lightly browned. Add green peppers and onions; cook until soft, drain off excess oil.
Sprinkle diced ham and vegetable mixture over croutons.
Combine eggs and the rest of ingredients, mix well and pour over diced ham.
Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Bake uncovered for 50-55 minutes.
Sprinkle with Kretschmar cheddar cheese and bake for 5 more minutes. Garnish if desired.
