Project Brave Spotlights Local Cancer Survivors

A local photographer is looking to feature cancer survivors in our area in a new calendar.

An Alma photographer is making a calendar to celebrate local cancer survivors and those still battling the illness.

After three family members suffered from cancer, Billy Crider with Visions in History Photography decided to use her talent to raise awareness.

Crider is looking for local people to spotlight in the calendar. Each month will celebrate a survivor, focusing more on the person rather than their illness.

According to Crider, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital for cancer research. The remainder of the money will go to producing more calendars.

To get involved with Project Brave, call Crider at (479) 647 6188. You can also send a text to that number with the hashtag #projectbrave.
