Fast Lane Entertainment on Dixieland in Lowell was evacuated at 7:30 p.m. Brad Drake, facility assistant manager, said someone set the laser tag fog machine to “continuous” mode. The large amount of fog set off the fire alarm, he said.

The Fire Department arrived and evacuated the building. Drake said firefighters checked the building and everyone went back in 30 minutes later.

Stephanie Lamb, sales and marketing manager, said the fog didn’t pose a safety hazard and didn’t have an odor.

The evacuation placed a short pause to its Military Appreciation Fall Festival. The festival is organized by Camp Alliance and Springdale VFW post 2952. It’s free to military men and women. The money raised through the event supports the 1,800 MilitaryCampAlliancePic2military families in Northwest Arkansas.

On Sundays, the business is open until midnight. Fast Lane has a bowling alley as well as laser tag.
