Candidates Jump Into Congressional Race

Little Rock banking executive French Hill on Tuesday (Oct. 29) jumped into the 2014 congressional race for the Central Arkansas House seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin, R-Ark.

At least one Democrat and one other Republican also have jumped into the race for the 2nd Congressional District seat.¬†Former North Little Rock Mayor Pat Hays announced last week he is running, and on Oct. 29, former Army Col. Conrad Reynolds, who described himself in a news release as a “strong, conservative leader,” also announced he is running for the congressional seat.
