Arkansas forces 22 turnovers in final exhibition game

The final tuneup for the Arkansas Razorbacks proved to be a smooth ride at Bud Walton Arena.

Arkansas outscores Northeastern State 48-28 in the second half to pull away for a 81-54 in the final exhibition game of the preseason.

The Razorbacks kick off the regular season Friday as they host Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

Coty Clarke scored a team high 16 points while adding seven rebounds. Anthlon Bell finished with 15 points while Alandise Harris added 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

Arkansas struggled from the field in the first half, hitting just 12-of-39 (30.8 percent).

The Razorbacks forced 22 turnovers, which resulted in 22 points. Arkansas outscored the River Hawks 20-0 in fast break points.

Springdale native Curtis Evans finished with seven points on 3-of-4 shooting for Northeastern State. Keon Littleton scored a team high 14 points in the loss.
