The strongest cold front of the fall season will arrive Monday night setting the stage for the first area-wide hard freeze.
Winds will be gusty early Tuesday morning and with temperatures in the 20’s and 30’s the wind chill will drop into the teens and 20s by the time the kids head out for the bus stop.
The one bit of good news for Tuesday? Winds will start to die down later in the afternoon.
It would be a good idea over the next few night to bring in, or cover any tender plants and pets that normally sleep outside.
