Authorities issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday for a 13-year-old girl they say may be in “imminent danger” after being taken by her uncle from her mother’s home, according to the Ouchita County Sheriff’s Office.

Kimberly Nussey went missing Monday from her Camden home at 5:42 p.m. Deputies said she was possibly taken against her will by her uncle, Phillip Thomas Nussey, 38. The girl is the subject of an ongoing custody battle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Kimberly was last seen wearing a gray cap with the letter “A” on it, a gray tank top with dogs on it, and light purple pants. She is Caucasian, 5-feet-eight-inches tall and about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Her uncle is a white male, about six feet tall and may be traveling in a late model white Ford Crown Victoria.

Anyone with any information on Kimberly Nussey’s disappearance should contact the Ouchita County Sheriff’s Office at 870-231-5300.
