Bob Stoops has had tremendous success since taking over at Oklahoma in 1999.

Oklahoma’s 41-31 at Kansas State pushes Stoops to the top of the school’s all time wins list as he recorded win number 158. Stoops passed Barry Switzer for the all-time record.

Trevor Knight started at quarterback for the Sooners (9-2, 6-2 Big XII) after Blake Bell sat out after suffering a concussion. Knight responded with 171 yards passing with a touchdown while adding 82 yards and another score on the ground.

Oklahoma’s offense rushed for 301 yards and three scores with most of the damage coming on the legs of Brennan Clay, who rushed for 200 yards and two scores. Clay is the first OU running back since Demarco Murray to rush for 200 yards or more.

Kansas State hung with the Sooners thanks to a single game record from receiver Tyler Lockett. Lockett had 12 catches for 278 yards and three scores, including a 90-yard touchdown that tied the game at 21 in the second quarter.
