Springdale Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Sunday (Nov. 24).
Officers tell 5NEWS that they responded to a report of a disturbance involving a knife.
When officers arrived, they found two females wrestling over a knife.
As one officer tried to seperate the two, one woman began to stab the other.
The woman with a knife attempted to flee from the home, but police were able to subdue the suspect and she was arrested for Battery on a family member.
Authorities say the woman who was stabbed received non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.
No names are being released at this time, and no word on how the two women are related.
