One person was taken by helicopter to a local hospital on Wednesday (Nov. 27) after a concrete truck overturned on Arkansas 112 in Cave Springs, officials said.
The Tune Concrete Co. truck drifted off of the road at 1:06 p.m., catching on the roadway’s asphalt lip. The driver over-corrected, causing the truck to flip, according to emergency crews at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved. The driver was airlifted by a medical helicopter to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, crews said.
It was unclear Wednesday afternoon what the condition was of the driver injured in the crash.
Tune Concrete operates out of Fayetteville, according to online public directories.
