The cost of the items in the carol “The 12 Days of Christmas” comes with a hefty price tag. The Associated Press reports buying one set of gifts mentioned in each verse of the song will cost you $23,393 in stores. That equates to a 7.7 percent increase from 2012. If you buy all 364 items repeated throughout the traditional carol, the Associated Press reports the price tag comes to $114,651.
