One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries early Wednesday evening following a rollover crash on Interstate 540 in Fayetteville, according to Central Emergency Medical Services.
A vehicle left the roadway and settled in the median on its roof around 5 p.m., according to emergency crews and an eyewitness at the scene. A responding ambulance transported a person who was in the vehicle to a local hospital “non-emergency”, according to a Central EMS dispatcher.
Traffic near the crash site slowed to a crawl for at least the next hour, according to a driver at the scene around 6 p.m.
