Springdale Police are searching for victims who may be connected to a recent theft spree in the Har-Ber Meadows area.
Authorities arrested Cassius Gladden, 25, of Springdale Tuesday after a 911 caller told police he caught a man walking into the garage of a home on Tall Oaks Loop early that morning. The caller told police the man then left the scene in a gray Honda passenger car with a rag covering the license plate.
Later that day a neighbor who witnessed the same Honda driving through the neighborhood reported seeing a man exit the Honda, take a package off the doorstep of a home and put it in the car.
Springdale Police arrived, and later found the Honda parked at an apartment complex on Jones Road. Authorities said they noticed Gladden exiting the car when they arrive. Investigators found numerous stolen items in the car along with packages that had been delivered to homes in and near Har-Ber Meadows.
Authorities then searched the suspect’s apartment and found several concrete Razorback ornaments. Additionally, the door of the suspect’s apartment also had a unique Razorback wreath which police say had been posted on Facebook in a post about the thefts.
Several items have been returned to their owners, but police plan to continue to work Wednesday trying to match up items to their rightful owners.
