Woman Hospitalized After Being Hit By Truck In Springdale

A woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck while walking across a road in Springdale on Thursday (Dec. 5), officials said.

The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. when a man turning his truck onto Emma Avenue from Graham Road hit the woman, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department. The man did not see the woman, according to police. No citations have been issued.

The woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was hospitalized at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale.
