Cave Springs police blocked the southern entrance to Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport following a wreck Friday afternoon involving as many as 10 vehicles, according to police at the scene.
The airport's entrance was re-opened a few hours later, according to the Benton County Sheriff's Office.
The crash, likely related to the weather, shut down traffic on Highway 264 just south of the airport, according to Cave Springs police. Officials at the scene urged those needing to get into the airport to take the northern entrance, although both entrances are now open.
No injuries were reported in the wreck, police said. An officer said a semi tractor-trailer was involved in the crash.
