School officials in Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville and Springdale have canceled school Wednesday in the wake of winter weather that rolled through the area late last week.
Many area schools have been closed since Thursday, after several inches of snow fell in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. Since then, roadways have been slick with ice and melted snow.
