Good news for holiday travelers. The average price for a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. has dropped 2 cents over the past two weeks after a month of increases.

Across the United States, a gallon of regular-grade gasoline will cost you $3.26 on average. That’s a decline of more than a penny and a half over the past two weeks.

Midgrade averages across the country come in at $3.46 and premium tops the charts at  $3.61, according to the Lundberg Survey released Sunday (Dec. 22).

Of the national cities surveyed in the continental U.S., the lowest price for a gallon of gasoline was found in Tulsa, Okla. at $2.84 a gallon.

Long Island, N.Y. had the highest price if you want to fill up, coming in at $3.62 per gallon.

Closer to home, the average price of gas in Fayetteville is $2.95. Taking a look in Fort Smith, the average for a regular gallon of gas sits lower than that, at just $2.85 for a gallon of gas.
