A Little Rock mom is in jail after allegedly leaving her four-year-old child in a freezing car, police said.
After leaving her four-year-old in a freezing car, a Little Rock mom is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
Police said Latoya Proctor,27, left her child in the car while visiting her boyfriend. She was arrested on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child and was booked into jail on $2,500 bond.
The child was not only left in below freezing conditions, but also a dangerous environment, police.
While she was inside her boyfriend’s apartment, Proctor’s car was broken into, and a woman in a nearby car rescued the child and called police.
